Anne Ryan was born in 1877 to Thomas Ryan and Margaret Comerford.
In 1868 she married Thomas Cochrane (1835-1895), and the two were emplyed as Master and Matron of Castlecomer Workhouse.
Anne died on the 26th of November 1877. Her death is mentioned in the Kilkenny Moderator on the 8th of December 1877 in an advertisement for her replacement at the Workhouse.
