John Powers married Alice Tydings (1837) in County Limerick.  Children born in Limerick:  Bridget Alice (born 1864 Limerick), Hannah (born 1865 Limerick), and Daniel Edward (born 8 July 1866 in Patrickswell in Knockainy Parish, County Limerick, per Ireland Civil Registration, 1845-1913).  All emmigrated to Boston, Massachusetts, USA between 1880-1887

Died 15th of January 1892.

  • I am not connected to the Powers family. There are 19 trees on Ancestry.com that connect.

    Per her death record, Alice (Abbie)'s parents were Thomas Tydings and Sarah Nolan.

    One of the trees identifies Matthew Powers (1805-1872), Johannah Donahue (1809-1870, Thomas Tydings ((1803-1867), and Sarah Nolan (1814-1880).
    You might want to check Irishgenealogy (government run, free, Catholic and Civil records), Historicgraves (free) or RootsIreland (Fee, I did check but could not find records to support).
