Annie Grace McMahon also known as Ellie Grace McMahon was born in Co Kerry , Killarney , Ireland circa 1859-1861
Father thought to be William McMahon (no futher details)
Mother thought to be Mary Grace Cokly or Coldy
At some point she emigrated to Christchurch NZ where she met and married John Knapton Mawson on 14.04.1881 in Rangiora.
Together they had 13 children including my great grandfather Ralph Mawson 2.2.1886-5.9.1950.
I have seen Annie and Johns Marriage Certificate although I currently cant find the link to it. Of note was the name Sheehy on it for Annie. I do not know the significance of this.
The only other thing I know about Annie is that she was possibly a music teacher.
