Hugh O'Flaherty Memorial

This memorial was unveiled in 2003 to honour local man Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty who aided in the escape and concelment of almost 6,500 prisoners of war and Jewish refugees in Italy and the Vatican during the years of Nazi occupation.
