The office of the Freeman's Journal was located on Princes Street North in Dublin's city centre.
During the 1916 Easter Rising, the building was completely destroyed.
The paper ran from 1763 and 1924 and is therefore an incredibly important historical source.
The archive of the Freeman's Journal is under the care of the National Library of Ireland.
The building features in James Joyce's Ulysses as the workplace of the main character Leopold Bloom.
