Migrated to/Born in UK

MY great great grandfather James Grogan was born around 1800 in Ireland.   Roman Catholic.  Married in Macclesfield Cheshire in 1838 to Jane Strong. Father Bernard Grogan, labourer.  Occupation listed as Blacksmith. However by 1851 census James is now an umbrella  maker.   Family travelled across England, resided in Bury St Edmund's for about 10 years before heading south, ending up in Walthamstow,  Essex. James died in 1901 in Tottenham. Buried in Catholic Cemetery  in Leytonstone, Essex.  Obituary in Walthamstow Essex Guardian newspaper for 1901 states he was 101 years old when he died.  Article placed in newspaper by his daughter Jane Mullinger (nee Grogan).  This would make his birth year 1799.

Would like to find birth record or baptism for James to ascertain where in Ireland he came from.
