Place of Death | Patrick died in Auckland on 18 February 1855 and is buried in Symonds Street Cemetery in central Auckland.
Occupation | My present information is that Patrick was a Corporal in the 58th Regiment (The Black Cuffs) and took his discharge in New Zealand.
New Type | Ann and her previous husband John Caldwell seem to have purchased farmland prior to John's death, in what was Pt Chevalier, Auckland, but is now part of the suburb of Mt Albert - Carrington Road. The family lived on this land and later part of the land was sold to the Education Board and is now Gladstone Primary School, and the rest subdivided for housing. |
