John St John was my 2x Gr8 Grandfather. Born in Cartron, Longford town and wed to Catherine Christie. His father was George St John , not sure of his birthplace but he was wed to Margaret Armstrong and they met in Longford. Any information on George and Margaret would be appreciated .

Hello. I suspect we are distant cousins rather than my being a direct descendant of your John St John. But I also have St John family from Longford, with the same pattern of recurring names, John, George, William.
