Joseph Murphy : Short Biography

Joseph Murphy was born in Dublin in1900 .His father was John Joseph Murphy who was married to Elizabeth Philpot in 1898. Joseph married Mary Carey and they had 8 children,2 boys named William and John and 6 daughter's name Kathleen, Margaret,Monica,Freda,Cora,and one other.Joseph Mary and the 6 daughter's emigrated to Birmingham, England while the 2 sons remained in Dublin.Joseph died in Birmingham in December 1968 and Mary died circa1980.All the daughters married except Kathleen and all remained in England.William married Maureen Byrne in 1952 and had 2 sons, Michael and William,and 3 daughter's Maria,Christine and Caroline.Johnny married Annie and had twin boys Michael and Joseph and also Anthony and Paul along with daughter Ester.
