Rose was wife of Thomas Fitzpatrick of Ballyholland Lower townland in Newry parish. She baptised a son Thomas on 21 November 1828 in the Clonallan catholic church and another son Patrick there on 24 February 1832. I know nothing else about her for certain but her grandson Thomas Joseph Fitzpatrick from New South Wales claimed in 1901 that his father Thomas had brothers James, William and Michael and no sisters. There are no earlier baptismal records from Newry or Clonallan parishes for those boys who were presumably older than son Thomas.
