Place of migration
Migrated to/Born in Australia

Arrived in NSW Australia as an orphan child of Robert Mills, a farmer, and Margaret (nee Friend). She was Church of England and literate. Arabella arrived on the last ship under the Earl Grey Scheme, the Tippoo Saib, which arrived 29th July 1850, into Sydney Cove, as a nursemaid. From three other orphan girls who arrived with her as nursemaids, it is possible she was in the Mountmellick Workhouse with them.
