Bridget (Mary) Quinn born in 1830 Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland. She was baptised on 26 Dec 1830 in the parish of Durrow, County Offaly.

Arrived in Sydney on the William and Mary 27 November 1849.

Married 3 March 1851 Emanuel Dew Sydney NSW. 

Died 17 April 1900 Hunters Hill NSW buried in Gore Hill Cemetery. 

She was a farm servant sent from Ireland to NSW in 1849 at 19 years of age on the ship William and Mary.  They had 8 children and lived in the North Shore region in Sydney.  Her name is commemorated on the Irish Famine Wall at Sydney’s Hyde Park Barracks. Her death was reported in the Sydney Morning Herald, Cumberland Argus and Fruitgrowers Advocate on 21 April 1900.
