I know my GGGF Dennis McCormick came from Ireland to Dumfries in Scotland (1840-1850). He was married to Jane Connelly. If anyone knows of any links would you please advise?

Hello Laura,

My name is Bill Smyth. My great,great grandfather was Dennis McCormick and I have been trying to find where he came from in Ireland. I thought that I had opted for Cork and Ross Workhouse in the section in quo as it seems ther are family links there and I was hoping one of the researchers may have a list of encumbents. This is all speculation as I have tried countless threads.

I'll visit the "Ancestor" page and correct the error.
