The Williamson family lived in this house for some generations, 8 children were born to Hugh Williamson and his wife Sarah Jane Caskey here. Two died young, two emigrated to New Zealand, two emigrated to the US, two remained in Ireland, both these two married and lived in Belfast, both having a single daughter who did not marry, so no remaining descendents.
In 1887, six years after his father had died, George Williamson sold the farm, he may have been the last member of the family there.
