Parents are "Michael & Cath - Father at Acconda, Mother dead"; Religion R/C; Can neither read nor write. Relatives in Australia: "A sister, Mary, in Sydney"; Health: Good. Fare cost: Five pounds, paid for by Mary Collins (sister).
On the 31st May 1858 John Collins married Ellen Blanchfield at the imposing address of St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney.
